Spaska Mitrova will consult Ataka MEP Dimitar Stoyanov on Macedonian affairs. The news was announced at a meeting between Mitrova, Ataka leader Volen Siderov, MP Pavel Shopov and MEP Dimitar Stoyanov.
“She is closely linked to what is happening to the people with Bulgarian identity, people who admit their Bulgarian origin in Macedonia. And since, as you know, this is an ongoing problem, which is connected with Macedonia’s EU membership, I invited Mrs. Mitrova to become my assistant in the European Parliament. I am a member of the parliamentary delegation between the EP and Macedonian parliament and I invited her for my assistant to consult me on issues related to Macedonia’s progress in its EU aspirations,” said Stoyanov.
Volen Siderov believes the appointment of Spaska Mitrova for Stoyanov’s assistant will be beneficial.
When you say in Macedonia that you are a Bulgarian, they start pursuing, tormenting and repressing you. The point is for the EP to realize Macedonia infringes on human rights, he said.
