“Lithuania strongly supports Macedonia’s aspirations for a full-fledged membership in European and Euro-Atlantic structures and I do hope your country will make a large step towards this goal already this year. I also hope our bilateral relations will be enriched further by new ideas and initiatives in various fields of political and economic cooperation. My congratulations once again on this holiday so much important for the nation of Macedonia! I wish you to remain the hearth of European values and an example of a cohesive multinational society not only for your own country but also for the whole region and Europe,” the President writes in the letter of congratulations.
