Russian nationals will not need visas for trips to Macedonia till October 15, 2010, sources from the Russian Foreign Ministry said on Tuesday.
“In accordance with a decision of the Macedonian government, the visa regime for Russian nationals is suspended from July 1 to October 15, 2010,” the sources said. “This means that for a short-term entry into Macedonia for the period of up to 90 days, Russian nationals will not have to produce visas, tourist vouchers, invitations or letters of guarantee,” they said.
It will be enough to have the passport for foreign trips, the insurance policy and the amount of money necessary for staying in that country, the sources specified.
However, Russian nationals intending to work in Macedonia will need permissions from the Macedonian officials, the ministry sources said.
