Turkish president receives Macedonian parliament speaker September 28, 2010

President Abdullah Gül had a meeting with Macedonia’s Parliament Speaker Trajko Veljanoski at İstanbul’s Tarabya Mansion, which took place behind closed doors.

Veljanoski is visiting Turkey upon an invitation by his Turkish counterpart Mehmet Ali Şahin.

Şahin and Veljanoski will have a tete-a-tete meeting, and co-chair a meeting of their respective delegations.

Şahin will host a luncheon in honor of the Macedonian delegation.

Sedat Kızılcıklı, chairman of the Turkey-Macedonia Parliamentary Friendship Group, will host a dinner in honor of the guest delegation.

Veljanoski and the accompanying delegation is expected to depart from Turkey on Wednesday.
