Turkish company restarts former Macedonia factory “Belema” April 30, 2011

One more foreign investment has been completed in Macedonia creating 50 new jobs. The Turkish company “ULAK Ambalaj” has restarted the former factory “Belema”. The launch of the production was marked by Macedonian Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski, Deputy Prime Minister Vladimir Peshevski, Director of Invest Macedonia Viktor Mizo, Owner of “ULAK Ambalaj” Necmi Ulac, and Turkish Ambassador to Macedonia Gurol Sokmensuer.

“After a lot of hard work by the government, Invest Macedonia, and local self-government, the former factory “Belema” was restarted in Berovo” said Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski. The owner Necmi Ulac stated that the interest for Macedonia started after seeing Invest Macedonia’s commercials. The investment was made after a series of of realized visits in  Macedonia. He plans to increase the starting investment of Euro 1,5 million and to double the factory’s capacity by 2013. The Turkish Ambassador to Macedonia said that Turkish investments increased in recent months because investors “have faith in  Macedonia”
